Trees SA – Large Indigenous & Exotic Trees in South Africa

Viburnum tinus

Evergreen | Exotic | Slow Growing Speed | Average Coastal Tolerance | Average Wind Tolerance

A golden-oldie that remains a favourite among landscapers for its reliability and multiple uses!

Ideally planted as a hedge for its dark and dense foliage, this tree also produces sweet fragrant flowers from the end of winter all through summer, which is loved by birds, bees and humans alike!

It also makes a beautiful small focal feature tree with non-invasive root structure. This little cutie can also withstand a fair amount of wind and will grow in both full sun and semi-shade areas.

This lovely long-flowering species is a great addition to a winter garden and will bloom its heart out when everything else is a bit dreary.
