This tree is very versatile as we have found that it can grow in very extreme environmental conditions: dry areas; wet areas; bad clay soil & windy areas. It is a beautiful conifer that will continue to delight you throughout the seasons as it changes from green to red colours and then bares its bones in winter. A large space is preferred to help this giant grow to its full potential. Excellent specimen for a massive tree house as well.
