A great alternative to the English Oak, the Algerian Oak is hardier and less susceptible to the powdery mildew. Excellent legacy tree with a large spreading canopy and very long lived nature! The tree is semi-deciduous in the warmer climates but may shed all their leaves if it's really cold. It's a fast growing species and can grow in clay soil. Fantastic option to build an epic treehouse in for the kids.
