The River Bushwillow will continue to delight you throughout the year with its beautiful Autumn colours, 4-winged seeds, fragrant flowers and attractive bark. It's semi-deciduous nature means that you will get more sunlight in your garden in the winter months whilst still holding on to a couple of autumn leaves until the new green leaves shoot out in spring. It's a very hardy tree, growing in difficult soil types such as clay and able to withstand the urban challenges such as air pollution and vandalism. This is therefore an excellent street avenue tree but can also be used as a feature tree in your garden. It's fast growing and therefore not suited for small gardens. Often compared with the White Stinkwood (Celtis sinensis) for it has similar shape and bark features.
