We’ve joined forces with Wildlands and Stellenbosch Trail Fund in order to beautify our parks and remember the people of Stellenbosch. Here’s how it works.
Each year, around the time of Arbor week, we plant large trees that have been donated by the Stellenbosch community to commemorate their loved ones.
Wildlands does the digging of the planting holes (and believe us, it’s hard work).
Trees SA supplies, delivers and plants all the trees (and also donates one tree).
Stellenbosch Trail Fund does the tree aftercare and watering (which is one of the most important roles to ensure these trees don’t die after they’ve been planted).
Together, we make a great team!
